The Silver Clouds Senior Chorus

The chorus has met for rehearsals and performed in programs at the Senior Center since about 1963. The group was started by Clarice Young. Ruth Fisher was the director for the longest time, 20 years. Leroy Bolden was successor to Ruth, and Carol Van Valkenburg was successor to Leroy. The most recent past director was Dr. Tony Buchanan. The current director is Donna Bradham.

The group welcomes new members of all ages. The ability to read music is helpful.

The chorus performs patriotic, seasonal, religious music and songs from the 30's, 40's and 50's.

Mindy Curtis is the accompanist, with occasional flute solos from Marcia Harris, and boogie piano solos by Naida Thomas.

Rehearsals are Tuesday Morning at 9:00 AM. Rehearsals are suspended from the spring concert in April until October. There are usually dress rehearsals on the Saturday or Sunday before a Tuesday performance.

The Old Time Bluegrass Gang

The Osceola Community Orchestra
