Ballroom dance- lessons, practice and tea dances

Where: St. Cloud Senior Citizen Center, 3101 17th Street, St. Cloud, Florida 34769.
When: Beginner lessons every Wednesday at 7:00 PM, intermediate lessons at 8:00 PM.
Method: A single dance is taught over a period of four or five Wednesdays in a month. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the character of a particular dance and development of confidence and poise on the dance floor. Students are expected to practice steps and techniques between lessons. From time to time, the lesson plan will be pushed back to accomodate a session on basics - posture, movement and frame.
When the regular teacher is not available, an experienced member of the club may conduct a review or teach a new step. If no one present feels comfortable teaching, a DVD or tape may be used.
Practice: Thursday practice time from 11 AM to 2 PM each Thursday, $1.00 per person, bring a lunch, choose your practice music from a selection of Waltzes, Tangos, Boleros, Cha-Cha or bring your CD's. Open to everyone.
Ballroom Dancing: Tea dances are held on Sunday specific afternoons 2:00 to 4:00 PM, see chart below. Open to club members and their guests. $3.00 per person for tea dance admission. Photos from our Tea Dance of November 13, 2011.

| Review - All dances, December 7 and December 21, 2 hours each evening, $6 for both review sessions |
| Pot Luck Christmas Party - Wednesday December 14, No charge, check with Sheila for sign up |
| West Coast Swing - Begins Wednesday January 4, Cost $12 for 4 week session. |
| Cha-Cha - Begins Wednesday, February 1, $15, for 5 week session |
| Night Club Two step, March 7, $12 for 4 week session. |
| Rhumba, April 4, $12 for 4 week session |
Tea Dance Schedule
| November 13, and December 11, January 9 and 23, February 12 and 26, March 11 and 25, April 22 |
| No dance Thanksgiving week, Christmas week or Easter. |
